Biography

Pei Li is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. His research interests include Computational Mechanics, Soil Mechanics, Piezoelectric Materials, and Numerical Methods simulation. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, where he focused on tribological-dynamic analysis and multibody systems. His PhD dissertation, which he completed in June 2019, explored the response of anisotropic crushable polymeric foam under impact. In addition to his role at the University of Southern Denmark, Pei Li has held positions as an Associate Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University and as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore. He is actively involved in research projects related to advanced computational design of piezoelectric meta-materials and 3D printing of smart devices. He is also a member of the editorial review board for the journal Discover Applied Sciences and is engaged in teaching and supervising master’s theses.
