Pejman Rowshan Farzad completed a Bachelor of Applied Physics, a Master of Medical Physics, and a PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Newcastle, NSW. Following his MSc, he worked for eight years in a medical cyclotron directory group, developing novel techniques for the production of medical radioisotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. His PhD project, titled 'Improvement EPID-based techniques dosimetry investigation linac mechanical performance advanced radiotherapy,' introduced solutions that have been commercialized for use in hospitals. Since joining the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2013, he has served as the UWA Medical Physics Program Coordinator since 2016, teaching several postgraduate courses in Medical Physics and supervising numerous research projects. Pejman has published over 130 peer-reviewed journal papers and collaborates with hospitals and research centers both within Australia and internationally. He has received several teaching excellence awards from UWA and was nominated for the 2021 Safer Community Award for his dedication to student safety and inclusion.
