Biography

Per Lundin is a Professor at Chalmers University, specializing in the fields of Science, Technology and Society, and Technology Management Economics. He received his PhD in the History of Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 2008 and was appointed docent in Economic History at Uppsala University in 2012. Lundin is currently leading the project "Follow Money: Political Economy Swedish Research, 1930-1980", funded by the Swedish Research Council in 2024-2026. He is also participating in a research project titled "Cold War Home Front: Militarization Swedish Civil Society 1945-1989", supported by the Swedish Research Council for the same period. In addition to his academic research, Lundin teaches several courses, including CTE032 History of Technology, TEK825 History of Technology in Business, and TEK131 History of Science. He is set to visit the Department of Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University during the academic year 2024/2025.
