Biography

Pete Long is a Teaching Faculty III at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has over 15 years of experience in brand management, marketing, strategy, innovation, general management, and consulting. Throughout his career, Pete has worked with notable firms such as Kimberly-Clark, Kraft-Heinz, and Frontier Co-Op. His research interests include brand positioning, new product development, portfolio renovation, and line extension, as well as the disruption of traditional advertising models. He is a passionate supporter of UW Badger Athletics, the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. An alum of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Pete graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and History and later obtained an MBA from Pepperdine University.
