Biography

Pete McNerney is an Adjunct Professor at Kellogg School of Management, specializing in healthcare entrepreneurship and venture capital. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare operating venture capital, he co-founded Thomas, McNerney & Partners and Coral Ventures, focusing on health care investments. His career began as the Chief Executive Officer of Memtec North America, where he commercialized cross-flow membrane microfiltration technology. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at Baxter Healthcare Corporation in various management roles across the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. In addition to his academic role, he serves as a board member for various portfolio companies. Pete is a certified public accountant and received his B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. He is also a fellow of Harvard's Advanced Leadership Initiative program.
