Biography

Peter Arkwright is a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology at the University of Manchester and the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and an International Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He has over 180 published peer-reviewed articles and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Practice. His research focuses on inborn errors of immunity and atopic diseases, particularly atopic dermatitis, and he is involved in developing novel treatments and exploring the psychological impacts of these conditions on families. Additionally, he teaches at MSc and PhD levels and has held various professional roles, including Chair of the North West Paediatric Allergy Network.
