Biography

Peter Bressler founded Bresslergroup, an internationally recognized product design development firm, over 40 years ago. His firm is known for innovative design solutions for a broad client list, including esteemed companies such as Black & Decker, Polk Audio, Becton Dickinson, Motorola, and Siemens Corporation. Following the sale of his ownership interest in Bresslergroup in 2012, Mr. Bressler has co-authored 75 design utility patents and has received 50 National and International Design Awards. He has served on juries for multiple design awards programs and been an invited presenter at events across Europe, Asia, and the United States. As a past President of the Industrial Designers Society of America and a Fellow of the same organization, Bressler has received the IDSA Personal Recognition Award, one of the society’s highest honors. For the past 10 years, he has provided expert witness support in design patent and products liability cases. Since 2006, he has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where he contributed to the development of the Integrated Product Design Program.
