Dr. Peter Buxbom

Biography

Peter Buxbom is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon and Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine, University of Copenhagen, with affiliation to Zealand University Hospital–Køge. He specializes in evidence-based treatment of children’s fractures and orthopaedic methodology. His research interests encompass improving treatment protocols and outcomes for pediatric orthopedic issues, focusing on children’s fractures and the methodologies used in their management. Dr. Buxbom is involved in developing insights into service usage through systematic data analysis and research funding initiatives. His work includes understanding potential conflicts of interest and the roles of various sources of research funding. He is committed to advancing clinical practice by integrating evidence into his work.
