Biography

Peter England is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. He graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2013 and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in 2017, where he served as chief resident. Following his residency, England pursued a Critical Care fellowship on the Anesthesia track at the University of Michigan from 2017 to 2019. He was subsequently hired as an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan, where he has served as the Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Medicine residency from 2020 to 2024. England currently holds the position of Associate Service Chief for Adult Emergency Services and leads quality improvement initiatives focusing on sepsis management within the Adult Emergency Department. His research interests include the clinical care and outcomes of sepsis patients in emergency settings, and he has contributed to numerous publications in this field.
