Biography

Peter Furci co-chairs Debevoise & Plimpton’s global tax practice and specializes in mergers and acquisitions, investment fund formation, and general corporate transactions. He works closely with the firm’s Private Equity, Family Enterprise, and Corporate M&A teams focusing on Latin America. Peter joined Debevoise in 1995 and became a partner in 2003. He received both his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Dartmouth College and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from New York University. He is a member of the Order of the Coif and served on the Tax Law Review. Additionally, Peter obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University in 1999.
