Biography

Peter Gruber holds PhDs in Physics from TU Wien and Finance from Università della Svizzera italiana. He joined USI in 2008 and is currently a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Finance (IFin). His research interests include economics volatility, econometrics, non-standard data sets, and high performance computing. Gruber teaches numerical methods, MATLAB, and R, contributing to the academic development of students in these technical fields.
