Biography

Peter Hagström obtained his PhD in March 2006 from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences with the dissertation "Biomass Potential Heat, Electricity Vehicle Fuel Sweden." He joined KTH Royal Institute of Technology as a researcher and teaching assistant in January 2007 in the Department of Energy Technology, focusing on power and heat technology. From 2007 to 2010, he served as a deputy director for the Center for Sustainable Development, a collaborative initiative between KTH and IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute. In 2011, he became engaged in InnoEnergys Master's program SELECT, which focuses on environmentally friendly energy systems, and since 2017, he has been responsible for this master's program at KTH. He is also in charge of bachelor theses in sustainable energy technology at the undergraduate level. His teaching includes courses on energy resources, sustainable energy systems, and thermal conversion analysis.
