Peter Holquist is the Ronald S. Lauder Endowed Term Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his Ph.D. with distinction from Columbia University in 1995 and has taught at Cornell University for nine years before joining Penn's History Department in Fall 2006. Holquist offers courses on imperial Russia, the Soviet Union, and Europe in the nineteenth century, and works with graduate students in the fields of Russian and Soviet history.
