Peter Emil Rerup Ingwersen is an Adjunct Professor at Aalborg University. He has visited multiple universities worldwide, including Rutgers University in the USA and Keio University in Japan, and has served as a Professor II at Oslo University College in Norway. Ingwersen has received numerous accolades for his contributions to information science, including the ASIS&T Award of Merit in 2016 and multiple honorary doctorates. His research interests encompass information behavior research, scientometrics, and scientific communication, among others.
