Biography

Peter Jossen received his MSc in 2006 from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, and completed his PhD in 2009 at Central European University, Hungary. He has held various post-doctoral positions in Regensburg, Paris, and Lausanne, and was appointed Assistant Professor at ETH Zürich. In 2022, Peter joined King's College London as a Lecturer in Pure Mathematics. His research interests lie primarily in Arithmetic Number Theory with a particular focus on the applications of motive theories to arithmetic number theoretical questions. Jossen is also part of the Geometry Group at King's College London, where he engages with a variety of topics, including algebraic geometry, cohomology theories, differential geometry, geometric analysis, homogeneous spaces, Lie groups, mirror symmetry, and symplectic geometry.
