Peter Kazanzides is a research professor in the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in robotics, mixed reality, and systems engineering. Kazanzides co-founded Integrated Surgical Systems in 1990 to commercialize robotic hip replacement research, which he conducted while at IBM and the University of California, Davis.
