Dr. Peter Kriesler

Biography

Peter Kriesler is an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), having completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge after studying at the University of Sydney. He serves as the Director of the Society of Heterodox Economists and the Deputy Director of the Centre for Applied Economic Research. Kriesler is also the Executive Editor of the Economics Labour Relations Review and is involved in the editorial boards of multiple journals. His research interests encompass the history of economic thought and heterodox economics, with a specific focus on the Australian economy, economic methodology, labour economics, and the impacts of globalization on economic perspectives regarding human rights.
