Dr. Lapner is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Ottawa and has been an active staff member at The Ottawa Hospital since 2003. He completed his medical training at the University of Toronto, the University of Ottawa, and the University of British Columbia, and participated in visiting fellowships at Nice University and the University of Zurich.
