His research interests encompass applying physics-based computational techniques across various fields, including super-resolution optical microscopy, X-ray phase imaging, optical coherence tomography, optical elastography, and photoacoustic imaging. He has also recently been appointed Vice Dean (Research) for the Faculty of Engineering Sciences in May 2023.
