Biography

Peter H. O'Donnell, MD PhD is a Professor in the Biological Sciences Division at the University of Chicago, specializing in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics. His clinical interests include various urological cancers such as bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and other genitourinary cancers. He has authored numerous research studies focused on pharmacogenomics, including investigations on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, pharmacogenomic information in inpatient prescribing, and national studies on prescription medications. O'Donnell has also explored the efficacy and safety of treatments like pembrolizumab in advanced urothelial carcinoma and has contributed to trials assessing various therapeutic strategies for metastatic prostate cancer.
