Biography

Dr. Peter Park is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Lassonde School of Engineering, York University. His expertise encompasses transportation safety and security, including highways and railways, intelligent transportation systems, and transportation planning, underpinned by advanced statistical analysis. Prior to joining York University, he was a member of the faculty in the Department of Civil and Geological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan from 2008 to 2015. Furthermore, he has created an E-learning course on crash reduction factors for the National Highway Institute. Dr. Park is widely published in prestigious journals and serves on the editorial boards of leading transportation safety journals.
