Dr. Peter Seele

Biography

Peter Seele holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Witten/Herdecke and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Düsseldorf. He currently serves as a Full Professor at the Università della Svizzera italiana and has previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Basel. His academic journey includes a post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities in Essen, Germany. He has also studied at the University of Oldenburg and the Delhi School of Economics. With extensive experience as a business consultant in Frankfurt, Seele has developed a strong focus on corporate social responsibility and business ethics. His research interests encompass various areas including Digital Ethics, Inflation, Greenwashing, and Machinewashing, reflecting his commitment to exploring the ethical implications of business practices in contemporary society.
