Dr. Peter Wysocki

Biography

Peter Wysocki is a distinguished faculty member at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, where he holds the title of Everett W. Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar in Accounting. He joined Boston University in 2017 after an extensive career in academia, which included positions as Associate Professor of Management at the University of Miami School of Business, Assistant Professor of Accounting at MIT Sloan School of Management, and various roles at the University of Michigan Business School. His research interests encompass the link between institutions and market economies, international accounting, and the analysis of disclosures pertaining to U.S. and international firms. Wysocki's research has received numerous accolades, including the American Accounting Association's 2014 Distinguished Contribution Award and notable recognitions for his influential papers on earnings management and global accounting convergence.
