Biography

Peyman Yousefi is an Assistant Professor at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia, an M.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tabriz, and a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Azad University of Tabriz. His research interests include educational initiatives related to Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and Scholarship of Engineering Learning (SoEL). Dr. Yousefi is also involved in projects concerning the water resources sector, where his work focuses on Hydroinformatics and smart infrastructure. His efforts are directed towards enhancing teaching and learning experiences through integrated digital education approaches, as well as contributing to studies and simulations of complex hydrological processes using stochastic modeling.
