Biography

Philip J. Camp is a Professor of Theoretical Chemistry in the School of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh. He holds a Master of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Physics from the University of Bristol. After completing his doctoral studies, he was an Izaak Walton Killam Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia from 1997 to 2000. His research focuses on the structure, dynamics, and phase equilibria of complex fluids, employing computer simulations and statistical mechanics. He is experienced in collaborating with industry partners and has a research group dedicated to molecular simulations.
