Dr. Philip Di Carlo

Biography

Philip Di Carlo is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, specializing in Diagnostic Radiology with a focus on breast imaging. He graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed his medical internship at Stony Brook University Hospital, followed by a residency in Radiology. Philip furthered his expertise by completing a fellowship in breast imaging at the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center, also at Stony Brook University Hospital. His clinical interests include mammography, breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography), breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast biopsy. He is skilled in interpreting imaging studies that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions and works closely with patients to address their concerns regarding breast health.
