Biography

Philip Nelson is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania, where he has been serving since 1998. His career at the university spans several roles, including Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Nelson's research primarily focuses on biological and living matter physics, with significant contributions in areas such as artificial biomembranes, biopolymers, soft condensed matter systems, and superresolution imaging.
