Dr. Philipp Henle

Biography

Philipp Henle is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Sonnenhof Orthopaedic Centre in Bern, Switzerland. He graduated from the University Medical School of Heidelberg in 2003 and underwent training in Orthopaedic Surgery at University Hospitals Heidelberg and Freiburg. With an extensive career focused on both clinical practice and academic teaching, Dr. Henle has dedicated significant effort to the education of medical students throughout his career. His academic work involves continuous research, including a year spent in a bone biology lab at the Department of Clinical Research at the University of Bern. His current research interests are centered on biological and biomechanical issues related to anterior cruciate ligament healing and the improvement of outcomes in knee arthroplasty. Dr. Henle is also involved in teaching various courses in the Biomedical Engineering Master's Program, specifically in Orthopaedic Surgery and the design of biomechanical systems.
