Philipp Seuferling joined the School of Critical Studies as a Lecturer in Communications in August 2025. Ongoing projects involve investigation into smartness and automation at Ellis Island and the history of kinship surveillance through DNA testing in migration contexts. He offers supervision for prospective PhD researchers in media communication studies and critical migration studies.
