Biography

Philippa Townsend is a Lecturer in Ancient Mediterranean Religions at the University of Edinburgh. Her academic journey began with a BA in Classics from King’s College, Cambridge, followed by an MA from University College London. She is currently engaged in writing a book titled 'Ethnicity and Sacrifice in the Early Christian World,' alongside a research project on the Cologne Mani Codex.
