Philippe Büchler is a Group Leader at the University of Bern, Institute for Surgical Technology and Biomechanics. His research focuses on the quantitative analysis of biomechanical systems, particularly in relation to surgical technologies and the application of deep learning methodologies in medical imaging. With over 200 publications and a significant number of citations, he contributes to advancing the understanding of complex biological processes through innovative research projects, including automatic quantification of scapular glenoid morphology using deep learning.
