Phillip Keen is a Senior Research Fellow at the Kirby Institute, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW Sydney, where he has been working since 2013. His research focuses on the use of population-level data to improve the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the New South Wales Government's HIV Strategies, with an emphasis on the impact of HIV prevention among gay and bisexual men. He has three decades of experience in HIV prevention, encompassing health promotion, capacity development, policy analysis, and the management of HIV prevention programs and research. Currently, he coordinates the NSW HIV Prevention Research Implementation Science Monitoring (PRISM) Partnership, which collaborates with leading organizations in HIV prevention research in New South Wales to co-develop and evaluate HIV prevention interventions that address disparities in HIV prevention.
