Biography

Phuong (Nana) Pham is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cardiometabolic Disease Research Group within UNSW Medicine & Health. She obtained her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales in 2022. Her research focuses on developing innovative biopharmaceuticals and nanomedicine approaches for diagnosing and treating chronic diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular-metabolic diseases. She is particularly interested in drug delivery systems, theranostic nanomedicine, as well as the synthesis and modification of nanoparticles for biomedical applications. Nana's contributions to her field have been recognized with various scholarships and awards, including the Talented Young Scientists Award from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
