Biography

Pierre-Luc Déziel is a full professor at the Faculty of Law and holds the Canada Research Chair on the Protection and Valorisation of Health Data. He leads the research axis on ethics, confidentiality, and social acceptability at the Institute of Intelligence and Data since 2020. He has published extensively on privacy law and its implications in the digital age, including the book 'The Protection of Personal Health Information in the Era of Biosecurity'.
