Biography

Dr. Pierre-Olivier Gaudreau is a Medical Oncologist at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology at Queen's University. He also holds a cross-appointment in the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences. Dr. Gaudreau completed his internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology fellowships at the University of Montreal and furthered his academic career by finishing his PhD at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. His clinical practice is focused on thoracic malignancies, and he is involved as a Senior Investigator in the Thoracic Oncology Site Committee for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group. His research interests encompass various aspects of thoracic malignancies, including clinical trials, investigational new drugs, translational research in thoracic oncology, mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapy, and pre-clinical models of non-small cell lung cancer.
