After obtaining a bachelor's and master's degree in philosophy from the University of Montreal, I completed doctoral studies at the University of Exeter and the Sorbonne under the supervision of John Dupré, Staffan Müller-Wille, and Jean Gayon. Prior to joining the Faculty of Philosophy at Laval University, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of History of Medicine and Health at the University of Geneva. My research focuses primarily on the philosophy and history of biological and medical sciences, as well as the history of philosophy of science in France, particularly the work of philosopher Georges Canguilhem. Since 2013, I have been a member of the Interuniversity Research Center on Science and Technology (CIRST) in Montreal, and I am also an associated researcher at the Institute of Humanities in Medicine (Lausanne) and a member of the Nutrition, Health, and Society Centre (NUTRISS) at Laval University.
