Piet van Eeuwijk has served as an external lecturer at the Ethnological Seminar, University of Zurich since 1997. Since 2017, he has been a Research Associate at the same institution. His research interests include aging, health transitions, and the impact of chronic and neglected tropical diseases, with a specific focus on Southeast Asia and East Africa. He has significant involvement in international and interdisciplinary research projects.
