Pietro Bortone is a linguist specializing in Classical, Medieval, and Modern Greek, as well as Comparative Philology and Scandinavian Studies. He holds degrees from prestigious institutions such as King’s College London and the University of Oxford. Bortone has lectured at various universities across Europe, South America, and Africa, and has contributed to the Oxford English Dictionary as an etymologist.
