Biography

Ploy Charoenphol is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2012, following her M.S. in the same field from the same institution in 2008. Charoenphol completed her undergraduate studies at Chulalongkorn University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2006. Her research interests focus on Engineering Education, Targeted Drug Delivery, and Hemodynamics. She has been recognized for her effective teaching practices and received the Effective Teaching Practices Certification from the Association College University Educators in 2022. Additionally, she was awarded the Teacher Award from the ASME, Texas A&M Student Chapter in 2021 and the AHA Scientist Development Award in 2017.
