Biography

Pooya Davari received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronic engineering in 2004 and 2008, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in power electronics from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, in 2013. He has been involved in various power electronics projects as a Development Engineer from 2005 to 2010 and served as a Lecturer at QUT in 2013-2014. Since joining Aalborg University in 2014 as a Postdoc, he has progressed to become a Professor and is currently the Head of the Applied Power Electronic Systems section. His research focuses on electromagnetic interference (EMI), power quality, and harmonic mitigation in power electronic systems, and he has published over 200 technical papers. Prof. Davari has served as Guest Associate Editor for several reputable journals, including IET Power Electronics and IEEE Access. He is a recognized leader in the field, having received various accolades, including the 2025 Electrical Engineering Award. His innovative work in EMI/EMC and contributions to the next generation of power electronic systems continue to make significant impacts in the field.
