Her interdisciplinary research encompasses a wide range of biomedical fields, including nanotechnology, biosensors, biomaterials, implant surfaces characterization, micro/nanofabrication, neuroscience, psychiatry, neurodegenerative diseases, gerontechnology, ambient assisted living, and telehealth rehabilitation. Currently, she works as a scientific officer and program manager for bilateral cooperation at Innosuisse (Swiss Innovation Agency).
