Dr. Pradeep Koppolu

Biography

Dr. Pradeep Koppolu acquired his undergraduate dental degree from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India, in 2006. He pursued a Master’s degree in Periodontology from the same university in 2011 and completed his doctoral philosophy in medical sciences in Malaysia in 2023. Dr. Koppolu is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, USA, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He holds certifications in laser dentistry from the European Medical Laser Association and the UCSF School of Dentistry, USA. Dr. Koppolu is registered as a specialist periodontist with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. He has over 14 years of experience in the field of periodontics, having served as Assistant Professor at the Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery in India, a consultant periodontist and laser specialist at FMS Dental Hospitals in Hyderabad, and as Senior Lecturer at Al Farabi Colleges in Saudi Arabia. He has held various positions of responsibility at Dar Al Uloom University in Riyadh, including Head of Teaching and Learning and member of several committees. Dr. Koppolu's research interests encompass periodontics, laser dentistry, implantology, microbiology, nanomaterials, and biomarkers, with a record of 120 publications. He received the 'Best Researcher' title at Dar Al Uloom University in 2021.
