Biography

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Siddappa is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist at Stanford Health Care and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. His clinical expertise lies in advanced endoscopic procedures for diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions, with a special focus on pancreatic care, including acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cysts, and pancreatic cancer. Dr. Siddappa employs advanced, minimally invasive techniques to improve early detection of pancreatic cancer, particularly in patients who are not surgical candidates. He has extensive experience researching gastrointestinal conditions and has received various grants for his work. His primary research investigates pancreatic cancer biomarkers present in pancreatic cyst fluid and explores advancements in endoscopic and duodenoscopic technology. Dr. Siddappa has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer and Clinical Endoscopy, and he regularly presents at international conferences including the annual Digestive Diseases Week.
