Biography

Pranav Bapat is a Research Scientific Engineer specializing in data science, artificial intelligence, and information retrieval. His work focuses on EU-funded projects within the agricultural sector, where he develops platforms to collaborate and disseminate agricultural knowledge. He ensures his expertise lies in machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), OpenSearch, natural language processing (NLP), and semantic search while maintaining a strong focus on building scalable and efficient architectures for real-world applications. Pranav holds a Master's degree in Data Science Decision Making from Maastricht University, a Master's in Computer Applications, a Bachelor's in Information Technology, and a Diploma in Cyber Law from the Asian School of Cyber Laws. His work involves designing and deploying high-performance backend architectures that power AI-driven platforms, including distributed systems, cloud-native deployments, authentication mechanisms, and database strategies. He contributes actively to AI research communities, participates in open-source development, and integrates DevOps practices to optimize deployment pipelines. Currently, he is involved in projects like EU-FarmBook, OpenAgri, Ambrosia, and BIOFIN, aimed at developing robust data infrastructures for AI-powered search platforms that drive agricultural innovation.
