Dr. Prashanth Krishnamohan

Biography

Prashanth Krishnamohan is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist and Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. He serves as the Medical Director of the Neurosciences Service Line at Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare, and heads the Stroke program. Dr. Krishnamohan specializes in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, with clinical interests that include the management of stroke, epilepsy, concussion, and coma. He is committed to providing personalized care that optimizes neurological function and improves patients' quality of life. His research has been published extensively in various academic journals, covering topics such as innovations in stroke care, quality management measurement, rapid bedside evaluations for seizures in ICU settings, and EEG metrics for comatose cardiac arrest patients. Additionally, he has presented at annual meetings for the Neurocritical Care Society and the American Academy of Neurology, and has authored chapters on post-concussive syndrome and stroke for Ferri’s Clinical Advisor. Dr. Krishnamohan is actively involved in community health education and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Neurocritical Care Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
