Prescilla Jeurink focuses on the critical role of the immune system in health and disease and is deeply fascinated by how a healthy diet and lifestyle maintain good health. Her significant research contributions have enhanced the understanding of immune resilience, highlighting the importance of personalized nutrition in this context. With extensive experience as a senior scientist and in project/program management within food companies, Prescilla has facilitated numerous public-private partnership grant applications. Her efforts ensure that scientific research translates into practical health solutions, bridging academia and industry. As the Managing Director at Future Food Utrecht, she is excited to advance sustainable, healthier, and fairer food systems while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across seven faculties at Utrecht University. She partners with knowledge institutes and companies to strengthen public-private partnerships and engage with regional, national, and international stakeholders to create meaningful impact.
