Biography

Priyanka is a Lecturer in Public Services Technology at King's Business School. Her research investigates the role digital artifacts and platforms play in everyday practices, with a particular emphasis on structures, cultures, institutional mechanisms, and power processes. She is interested in deconstructing the relationship between technology and social organizational change in a public sector context, particularly in the Global South. Her Ph.D. explored the role of mobile technologies in community health worker practices in India, focusing on public health management through the lenses of power, structure, affordances, and empowerment. Priyanka's current publications are featured in the Information Systems Journal of the Association for Information Systems. She completed her PhD in Management Information Systems at the School of Business and Management, Royal Holloway, University of London, and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Management, Information Systems, and Innovation. Priyanka is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has taught various courses on Digital Innovation, Analytics, Information Management, and Research Methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across higher education institutions in the UK.
