Biography

Qendresa Beqiri joined the Motility Program at Yale Digestive Diseases, focusing on managing chronic illness, particularly gastrointestinal reflux disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Her work emphasizes lifestyle modifications and the psychosocial aspects of patient care, including the effects of stress and anxiety on gastrointestinal health. With a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Quinnipiac University, she has built her career on the principles of evidence-based healthcare, taking into account the individuality of each patient from a holistic perspective. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Middlebury College. Qendresa has over six years of direct patient care experience across various settings, including inpatient care, urgent care, and cardiology, showcasing her commitment to treating patients with the same care she would want for her own family.
