Biography

Qi-Ming He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo in the Department of Management Sciences. His research interests encompass Operations Research, Management Sciences, Applied Probability, and Matrix Analytic Methods. He is an active member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and the Canadian Operational Research Society (CORS). He has also played significant roles as Conference Co-Chair for the International Conference on Matrix-Analytic Methods and Stochastic Models from 2008 to 2016 and as a Co-Organizer for the Annual Conference for Canadian Queueing Theorists and Practitioners from 2007 to 2013.
