Biography

Qi Hu completed his degree in Engineering Science at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford, from 2013 to 2017. He conducted doctoral research on adaptive optics corrections for phase polarization state aberrations in microscopes within the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, he was awarded the EPSRC IAA Doctoral Impact Scheme grant and was elected as a Schmidt AI Science fellow and an associate research fellow at Reuben College in 2023. Currently, he serves as a Departmental Lecturer in Photonics since 2025, focusing on integrating AI techniques with optical hardware control to develop next-generation imaging systems.
